The Presbyterian Church (U.S.A.), believes in one God in three persons (Father, Son, and Holy Spirit) and affirms the sovereignty of God, the authority of Scripture, and salvation by grace through faith in Jesus Christ, who is both fully God and fully human. Rooted in Reformed theology, PC(USA) theology emphasizes God's call to service, stewardship, and the pursuit of justice in the world, as well as the priesthood of all believers.
